This PICAXE-8M2 programmable IC is the smallest but most popular PICAXE microcontroller. It is widely used in education due to its low cost and small footprint and is equally popular amongst hobbyists.


The 8-pin chip can support 4 inputs/outputs with 3 analogue/touch sensor channels. The IC has 8 pins, a program memory (bytes) of 2048 and can run 4 parallel tasks. Inputs / outputs: 1-4 / 1-4.
